Pont Mahé, a great spot for water sports

The discrete and modest little village of Assérac is bursting with
hidden treasures… such as its beaches. There are in fact 10 of them with one very ‘sought after asset’ here in Brittany at their disposal… the seawater in the bay at Pont-Mahé can reach a balmy 25°C!!! …and what’s more it is a calm and safe site listed by specialist magazines as one of THE best spots for windsurfing and kitesurfing!

The Western Mediterranean

The Pont-Mahé beach is a beautiful place where, on summertime, the water can warm up to 28°C (82.4 °F). A sandy beach at the edge of a pine forest : everything is here natural and calm. Thanks to the beach low difference in height, this beach is quite suitable for families.

THE Spot

Pont Mahé is known to be an unmissable spot for kitesurfing and windsurfing.

A preserved area

This natural site is protected on a European scale because of the biotope quality : the Pont Mahé beach is one of the rare sand dunes sites of the department and, as such, needs to be preserved.
