Dom Juan de Molière is a play that tells the story of a libertine and seductive aristocrat, known for his amorous conquests and disregard for moral and religious norms.
Accompanied by his faithful servant Sganarelle, who disapproves of his actions but remains at his side, Dom Juan seduces several women and deceives many men. He mocks religion, claiming that he believes neither in heaven nor hell, and repeatedly escapes the consequences of his actions thanks to his skill and cynicism. However, his irreverent attitude and refusal to repent, bring upon him divine vengeance.
The play addresses universal themes such as freedom, religion, hypocrisy and morality.
