The La Baule Easter Egg Hunt - April
Every year, our Tourist Office La Baule Guérande peninsula organises the biggest free Easter Egg Hunt in France, in the Parc des Dryades. Great fun for treasure-seekers of all ages to enjoy together in a beautiful park with Asian and contemporary gardens.Guérande Medieval Festival - May
For over 20 years, the town of Guérande and a number of passionate individuals have brought the Fête Médiévale to the streets within the walled city. Over 2 days, Guérande dons its raiments from long ago, with a traditional market, medieval fair, medieval camps, inns, horse-riding events, children’s entertainment, live music, theatrical and juggling events.Jumping of La Baule - May
It's one of the most important show jumping competitions in a jockey’s career. Every year in May, the world’s show jumping stars come in La Baule to participate in the toughest competition. Over 3 days, the jockeys and their horses take on their opponents in 3 tests:- Meydan-Fédération Equestre Internationale Nations Cup

Herbignac Pottery Market - May
The commune of Herbignac is keeping alive its glorious pottery tradition by organising the annual Pottery Market. This event, well known to specialists, sees more than 50 potters-ceramicists coming from all over France and abroad during Ascension weekend in May.In the romantic setting of the Château de Ranrouët, these artisans share their expertise and create magnificent pieces in stone, earthenware, glazed pottery, and many other materials.
The Festi'vent of La Turballe - June
This festival, created in 2008, delights the whole family, whether they are contemplative, admiring the giant kites floating lightly in the sky, or sporty, attracted by the team ballets or all sorts of discoveries such as catamaran, schooner, sea kayak, paddle, but also party lovers who will come to attend the street entertainment and the free concert on Saturday evening.Located on the "Plage des Bretons", the Festi'Vent takes place regularly on the last weekend of June. Over the years, the festival has become an unmissable event and is one of the most important meetings for kite flyers.
The Kerhinet market - July & August
For over 30 years, the Kerhinet market has been THE place to be in the summer as it promotes the area through its local producers supported by the Brière Regional Park. In the thatched cottage village of Kerhinet, the atmosphere is warm and rural. You can find vegetables, bread, meat, dairy products, cider, Muscadet, pancakes, honey, jams and other delights that can be eaten directly on the spot, to the delight of young and old alike!The Celtic Festival of Guérande - August
Over 6 days, the Festival invades the town, becoming the essential event for lovers of traditional music, song and dance. This special meeting between the old and the new produces the Art au gré des chapelles event, held every year in September.'Saveurs d’octobre' - October
Open your eyes and tantalise your taste buds!“Saveurs d’octobre” has become the highlight of the autumn season on the Peninsula. In partnership with the “Site Remarquable du Goût des Marais Salants de Guérande” association, this event aims to turn the spotlight on Guérande salt, in all its traditional forms, and the wealth of expertise associated with it. There will be a huge range of entertainment: events relating to the region’s history, culture and landscape, cooking demonstrations by top chefs, food tasting sessions, farmers’ market, gourmet food exhibition, and tours of the salt marshes – experience the autumn in full colour.
